Before the launch of Wargaming World Solo in March ‘24 I played three introductory games. Indeed some of the pictures from the games, in Belgium 1914 as they resist invasion by German forces, South Africa Zulu / Boer 1838 action and an 8th Century Viking / Picts clash, appear in the final version of the ruleset. They are great examples of how the ruleset works in any period.
