OK yes…the games are from Chain of Command, and many from the Blitzkrieg 1940 handbook, and not from the new Chain of Command V2 version.
Richard Clarke created a ruleset which was the very first which allowed me to play “both sides” as it were. In every phase there was an unpredictability to it, with the jeopardy that only limited numbers of units may act.
I have been able to play Chain of Command in early 1940 France, in North Africa mid-war, and returning to France in 1944 now with American forces. I have complete a campaign series in Capturing Caesar’s Camp which is included below and you will be able to pick up a steam of one off games too, including my very early YouTube efforts which despite the editing were great to play.
