This excellent ruleset introduced me to a further new concept – characters in each unit and the impact they can make. “The gentleman has a bottle” (from Zulu – but I know you know that!) is just one novelty which shapes your game. Here too for the solo player there is Mr Babbage who will control the native forces whilst you control the invading colonial troops.

This is a fantastic ruleset and I have really enjoyed these games with some excellent final results!
