How many wargamers can think back to how their hobby started would readily connect a movie to the decades of tabletop gaming that followed? Perhaps “A Bridge Too Far”? or something a little later, “Dunkirk” perhaps? For many the hobby began with a four letter word “ZULU”.
Despite the relatively brief period of the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879, the volume of wargames dedicated to the period is remarkable.
